Plot:
The Great Westward was supposed to be unsinkable. The greatest ship of its age. The safest vessel ever built.

More than a century later, a modern expedition ventures into the Arctic to locate the legendary wreck. Instead, they awaken mysteries that history deliberately buried. The doomed expedition never simply vanished. It became trapped within a cursed ship drifting through the frozen seas of Damnation Land.
Only Burke and Hanning escaped. Crossing more than a thousand miles of deadly wilderness, they encountered creatures believed extinct, ancient races thought mythical, and the buried city of Hyperborea—the legendary Asgard itself.
But something else followed them from the ghost ship. Something that refuses to die.
